ABOUT JASMIJN  

Hello! My name is Jasmijn and I work as an independent filmmaker. I grew up in Amsterdam but moved to Sweden in 2015, where I did my bachelor in Film Composition at HDK-VALAND (University of Gothenburg). I can’t decide what parts of filmmaking I enjoy the most, so I mostly end up doing everything! I’ve made fictional, documentary, experimental and animated shorts. Many of my projects revolve around migration and human rights. Right now I’m developing a short hybrid film and a feature documentary.

Even though I love working by myself, I’m always looking for new collaborations and other projects to join! Since I need to pay my rent in Stockholm (where I’m based), I’m open to do any type of work on set. Do you need a continuity person? A runner? A set designer? An animator? A boom operator? Hit me up!
